MOM at GG's House is an all-in, all hands on deck, get down in the dirt if we have to, nitty gritty "let's get this done" kind of ministry. At the very core of everything we do is a genuine love for people. In this season our mission is about meeting the most basic needs for those in need in order to live a safe and healthy life. The needs in our community are immense and with your help, we will do as much as we're able to help every person whom God sends our way. To find out more about what that means and what it looks like ...
We believe that with Jesus all things are possible!
Fulfill the mandate in Matthew 25:34-40 to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, take care of the sick and visit those in prison ... one day at a time!
Patricia Frost is an Ambassador for Christ in Ocklawaha, Florida and founder of Mercy Outreach Ministry at Grandma and Grandpa's House. “G.G.’s House", a family resource center, was begun by Ms. Frost and friend Nora Mace in connection with the Ocklawaha United Methodist Church in 2007. The ministry continued to serve the needs of the community until 2011 when the death of her husband and lack of volunteers forced its closure. Her heart’s desire to answer the call found in Matthew 25:34-40 to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, take care of the sick and visit those in prison became a mission on hold.
Over the next several years, Ms Frost spent precious time with her elderly mother and survived a battle with liver cancer. Then in January of 2018 the Lord opened the door for her to return to G.G.’s House. With the encouragement of others and the help of co-worker, Selena Wampler, Mercy Outreach Ministry @ G.G.’s House was reopened as an independent non-denominational Christian Recovery Center.
As a facilitator, teacher, and advocate, her lifelong desire has been to help those in crisis as a result of addictions to personally connect with God so that they might reach their full potential and experience living life happy, healthy and whole.
